AUCTION SELLING

There are two ways to sell your motorcycle: unreserved or reserved. An unreserved motorcycle sells to the highest bidder. A 10% commission of the hammer price is charged, with no consignment fee. On a reserved motorcycle you set the minimum selling price (you do have the right to change your mind on the floor and accept the highest bid, but please note that your consignment fee is still not refundable). A 10% commission of the selling price is charged, and the consignment fee is $100. There will be a $150 minimum commission charged on all lots, reserve or no reserve. You may pre-register your bike now and pay the consignment fee when you arrive at the event. We reserve the right to refuse consignments with unreasonable reserves or motorcycles deemed not suitable for the auction.

AUCTION BUYING

You must register and get a "bidder's number" in order to buy at the auction sale. There will be a 13% buyer's premium. The buyer's premium will be reduced to 10% if you pay with cash, pre approved or bank guaranteed check. Payment in full is due on the night of the sale. Acceptable terms are: cash, bank checks or a bank letter of credit guaranteeing payment of your personal or company check. The letter must be currently dated, include the account number to be used and the amount of funds to be covered by the guarantee. We accept licensed dealer checks and pre-approved company checks. To get pre-approved please email or call us. You may also leave a deposit of $1000 per machine and pay the balance on Saturday morning. Another option is to do a wire transfer. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Purchases can be picked up immediately after the sale on Friday or on Saturday March 17th, 8 am to 12 noon. If you are a dealer or work with a dealer, be sure to bring a copy of the dealer's license and tax resale certificate. * TIPS: Please come to the event early to check the bikes out - we have discount tickets so you can come every day if you like. SHIPPING

Motorcycles may be shipped in the continental United States through the Federal Companies, 800-747-4100, ext. 2229 for Jennifer or 2210 Jackie. The costs are very reasonable—you can fly in, purchase a bike, and fly home without worry. A representative from Federal will be at the event.

If you can't make it to the auction, but have a bike to sell, consider having Federal pick up your motorcycle for the sale. Call or e-mail us to see if your bike will qualify and details.

TITLES

You must have a good, transferable title in your name, unless you are a dealer or have a notarized power of attorney naming you as the agent from the person who's name is on the title. Example: if you have a title that is in "Fred Smith's" name, in order to sell it, you must be Fred Smith, or have a notarized power of attorney from Fred Smith naming you as the authorized agent for Fred Smith for you to sell it. We have power of attorney forms and will be happy to send them to you if you call. The only exceptions will be vehicles that are considered "off-road" or "race" and do not come with a title. If your state does not title old bikes, then a registration in your name will serve as a title. New deal in Florida, a motorcycle that has not been previously titled in Florida and is 1974 and earlier can be sold on a special bill of sale. If your state will not title or register your bike for you with the paper work you have, and your bike is more than 10 years old, you may be able to purchase a title from a title company. Try "Broadway Title Company" at 800-464-3222. We cannot accept motorcycles with altered serial numbers. Licensed, bonded Florida title agents will handle title transfers for a very reasonable fee, guaranteeing you the proper paperwork.

SWAP MEET

Inside spaces will be 10' x 20' and are $50 each for all three days. Outside spaces will be $35 for three days for a 10' x 20' or $50 for a 20' x 30'. Spaces include 2 event passes. Camping in your outside vendor spots will be permitted and the fairgrounds for an additional charge. There are also some hook-ups in a camping area.

VENDOR SET-UP

To make set-up smoother for all, we have set the following schedule. You may do Swap meet setup 1PM to 6PM Tuesday. The rest of the week the hours will be: open for set-up at 7:00 am, open to the public at 8:00 am, and close at 6:00 pm. People come from all over the world to buy vintage parts, memorabilia and literature. We do not allow any "X-rated" items, weapons, fire arms or drug paraphernalia. This is a family event and our buyers will be looking for good parts and memorabilia. So if you have good vintage items to sell, bring 'em down! We really appreciate your participation at our events, and we know you'll enjoy our new location at the Volusia County Fairgrounds in DeLand.

Fairgrounds Camping:
Tent & RV Camping is available for $15 - $50 per night.

Swap Meet vendors need to make their camping reservations through Jerry Wood.
