Dear Friends and Motorcycle Enthusiasts,

As many of you know, we started the very first consignment vintage motorcycle auction 25 years ago at the old Armory in Daytona.  We all enjoyed building this into an international event, and we did it as a team of family and friends.

For a time, it looked like the Daytona event was not going to happen this year.  We received calls, letters and e-mails asking us to do something to keep this special event alive.  Well, we all worked together and it is on!!   We have a new location (Volusia County Fairgrounds) with lots more room for parking, vendors and motorcycles.  Who knows, perhaps next year we can even get AHRMA back.

 We also will have more freedoms, and freedom is something that we motorcyclists love.  We can run the bikes so you can hear them.  The vendors can be inside or camp in their spots outside, if they want, or  have hook-ups in another camping area. (The fairgrounds charges $20/night for dry camping and $40/night for RV hook up).  We also will be able to keep the price down for everybody.  Approx 10 X 20 vendor spots will be $35 for outside and $50 inside for all three days and include 2 event passes per vendor.  General admission will be $5 on Wednesday and Thursday and $10 on Friday (auction day).  We will also offer a 3-day pass for $15.

We have a great start for the auction including multi time World Champion Freddie Spencer's Factory Fast by Ferracci Ducati Superbike along with a factory world superbike spare engine.  We also have some nice Harley-Davidsons, Ducati's, Triumphs, BSA's and more already consigned. 

We need your help to make this event work.  I can assure you that I have been given complete control of the auction and Mike and Peggy Garner will be running the office and doing the title work with their well known precision and efficiency.  This event will be run with our standard rules--complete honesty about the bikes and the auction process.

 WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!  WE NEED MORE MOTORCYCLES FOR THE AUCTION AND LOTS OF VENDORS.

We are getting a late start, so, I am going to make it very easy for you all to jump in.  There is no consignment fee for no reserve bikes and the fee for reserve bikes is just $100. Call me at 352-795-8895 9AM to 6PM or e-mail me photos, description and what you need to jwoodandco@comcast.net.  The same for vendors, just e-mail what you want inside or outside and we will reserve your spaces.  WE DON'T NEED ANY MONEY UP FRONT, you can pay at the event.

You may be able to enter your bikes during bike week, but if you give us the information up front, we can advertise them for you and bring you the buyers for your special bike. Barn Bikes are HOT!

This event is going to be like an election; your participation will be your vote, so make it count!!!!!
