$ 10,100 |
This is one of the Highest performance street legal motorcycles produced by BSA or any other British company during the 60's. It was supplied with high compression, a race cam and Amal GP racing carburetors. It also had a Goldstar racing brake, fiberglass gas tank and alloy wheels. They were a bit much for most riders as the GP's didn't idle or go slow very well. Many were replaced with street carbs and the Spitfires were detuned for the 67 and 68 years. The 66 Mark II was the only street twin ever sold with the full race carburetors. This is a very special rare collector bike with a museum quality frame off restoration.

very sharp looking machines. |

SRM Cafe' Racer |
2 |
$ 7,425 |
This is probably the
best BSA twin that I have ever ridden. It has an SRM engineering 750
engine. SRM re-engineers the BSA twin by making it more powerful and more
reliable that they were when they were new. This bike has tons of grunt and
stops on a dime with the big EBC disc brakes and modern suspension. We will
have this bike available for a test ride at the AMCA meet in New Smyrna
Beach March 9 and 10. I want qualified riders to experience how good a BSA
twin can be. Note: it's gotta be dry out, this bike is beautiful. |

$ 29,700 |
In 1919 Harley
Davidson built a machine to compete on the world market with England's
popular Douglas. The machines had many modern amenities like side valves,
wet clutch, unit construction and a trailing link front suspension. The
Ford Model T changed the market as cars became a more cost effective option
for many people. The Sport was dropped in 1922. This example has had a nice
restoration and is a piece of American Motorcycling history. |

$ 91,300 |
This a rare find and documented to be the bike that Floyd Emde rode to the
win the Daytona 200 in 1948 on the beach course. This is number 40 of the
50 that were built for the 1948 season by the Indian Factory. I have been
told that it survived intact because Guy Urquhart, the Indian dealer who
hired Floyd to race it put the machine away in his shop in San Diego
California. The race was very significant as it was only the second year
that the Daytona 200 resumed after not holding the event during World War
Two. The race had 153 entrants and was a grueling test of endurance over
the 4.1 mile beach course. It was also one of the last hand shift
motorcycles to win as the British were about to take over the top spots
with their better handling, foot shift machinery. Floyd and his son Don
were the only father son combination to win the Daytona 200 after Don won
the race in 1972 on a Yamaha. |

The 72 G2 was the fastest

Kawasaki detuned them the next year and lengthened the swing arm after

.Very first year for the world famous Speed Twin
The
Triumph Speedtwin of 1938 is one of the most important motorcycles ever
produced. The Speedtwin, almost on its own, took Triumph from bankruptcy to
being one of the most important motorcycle manufactures in the world. A very
desirable British classic and a great motorcycle for any collection. This
example is a nice motorcycle with some minor alterations such as an
incorrect headlight along with other small issues. Selling with a
title.

TR5R Factory Road-racer |
|
$ 0 |
This is one of
of 112 TR5R road racers produced by the Triumph factory. This bike is one
of six known survivors as most of the production went off to America's race
tracks. These bikes were very special and had Red Seal Dyno tested engines
with Delta dual carb heads, high compression, racing cams, racing magneto
as well as factory racing pipes and megaphones, folding rear-set footrests,
alloy brake with air scoop and other special details. This machine has had an extremely well-done, accurate restoration done by Jaye Strait. The bike is fully documented and Jaye will be available to answer
questions. Jaye has done a number of Triumph TR5 restorations and is considered an expert on these motorcycles. |

The 1970 Bonneville was one of the best Twins that Triumph produced. It still has the classic single downtube frame with the separate oil tank, but has a great front brake and improved engine. This bike is in excellent shape both mechanically and cosmetically. It has had a recent service by a veteran Brit-bike technician and is ready to ride anywhere. We will have this bike available for a qualified buyer to test ride at the AMCA meet in New Smyrna Beach March 9 and 10. We want people to experience what fun a Triumph can be to ride and we are proud of this one. Dry rides only by experienced riders. |

Very nice original or an excellent restoration, we cannot tell. Told to us
by the seller that it was a back up bike for a race team in Italy but was only
used as a parts donor bike and NOS parts reinstalled on it after the season. Was
recently fueled and started on rollers to check the transmission for correct
operation and then shut down. Great bike for vintage races or for any TZ
